The TGFL is excited to be launching its 5th season of flag football in 2014. We are an inclusive league, welcoming all individuals from the gay, lesbian, bisexual, straight, and transgender communities. Open division league games run from late May through the end of September (including playoffs) and will be played weekly on Sunday afternoons. Events

Combine #1 - Women's Division
26 April 2014 10:00 - 12:00
The 2014 season is almost upon us which means it's TGFL Combine time! What is a combine? We are assessing ALL players for their skill level to help give our captains a better sense of where everyone stands in order for us to make the teams as even as possible. If you are a new player to the league you MUST attend one of our combines. You will be assessed on:

  • catching
  • route running
  • deflagging
  • defensive coverage
  • running
If you are a returning player who has not done a combine since the 2011 season or before, you MUST also attend a combine. You will be assessed on:
  • running ("L"-shuttle run, 3-cone run, 40-yd dash)
We will have a practice and run through of some vital flag football skills prior to the combine and then after the combine (time permitting) a big old-fashioned SCRIMMAGE. YAY! If you have any questions or are not sure if you have to attend, please send an email to secretary@torontogayfootball.com.

Toronto Mounties

For the 4th year in a row, the TGFL is a proud member of the National Gay Flag Football League (NGFFL) which holds National Flag Football tournaments for all individuals from the gay, lesbian, bisexual, straight, and transgender communities across the USA. The TGFL’s Toronto Mounties team has participated in GayBowl (Houston, Denver, and most recently in Phoenix) as well as Chicago’s PrideBowl. The team is always looking for new players to join us as we return to Chicago in June for PrideBowl VII and GayBowl XIV in Philadelphia, PA. Subscribe to our newsletter Check out some of our Photo Gallery.
